KONSTANTINOS MARKOULAKIS (Founding Partner) holds Master’s degrees in European Community Law from the University of Brussels (License spéciale) and in International Law from the University of Bristol (LL.M.).
He specializes in Commercial and Competition Law and has acted as expert for the Greek Ministry of Development in related issues. He was a member of the committee which drafted the Greek law on public-private partnerships (PPPs) and has drafted legislation in Romania, Georgia and Ukraine.
He has acted for more than a decade as head of legal teams in major energy-related projects of the European Commission (INOGATE) and has extensive experience in technical assistance activities and investment support in the Balkans and the former Eastern bloc regions. He is a legal consultant for the Tourism Development Company (formerly Hellenic Tourist Properties) and other (mainly commercial) companies. He has significant experience in local and international arbitration.
