CHARIS TSIGOU (Partner) holds two Master’s degrees (DEA) from Paris University II (Panthéon-Assas) in Philosophy of Law and in Intellectual Property Law, and is currently preparing her Doctorat thesis in Intellectual Property Law at Paris University I (Sorbonne).

She specializes in Intellectual Property and Trademark Law.

For over a decade she has been in-house legal advisor for the National Council for Radio and Television and has had key involvement in the development of related institutional issues (drafting of legal instruments, model codes of ethics, major directives, etc.). She is also legal advisor to the Hellenic Open University.

She is a regular contributor in legal journals on matters of intellectual property and broadcasting law and regularly participates as a speaker in conferences and workshops related to these issues. She is also the co-author of a successful reference book on intellectual property.

She is fluent in French and English and speaks German.
